Avantix Laboratories, Inc., is a privately held company, founded in 1998 by Linyee Shum, Ph.D. While working in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Shum was not satisfied with the lack of ownership and commitment to quality demonstrated by many of the available contract research organizations (CRO's). He saw a need for a CRO that is able to take on a project and fully understand the science behind the protocols and the significance of the data. Avantix was created to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical and related industries by providing superb services in support of discovery and development of pharmaceutical and chemical products.
